Yesterday my wife & I went to toots in Smyrna and had their special, the fish basket. It's just hard to beat their plate of hot succulent, seasoned fried catfish and a large bowl of perfectly seasoned sweet potato fries, for $6.99. In fact, you can't beat that! We were in town to drop my kid off to MTSU. We decided to try the food here. The food was good. The seafood salad was enough for two people and the onion rings were good- not oily or overcooked. They are just right! I will be back the next time we are in town to try some other dishes. It was a take out order so we don't sit in but the decor looked cool from what I did see.
Came for dinner late on Sunday night. Food was good came out quick and good portions, but staff... staff was GREAT!! Shad has an incredible energy behind the bar and is so excited to be there and try new things. Wait staff interactions with each other and him seemed like they all genuinely enjoy each other and are so personable. Shad will be my new Sunday night bartender.
Service is awesome like always and Jasmine was amazing and excellent also great as well and very friendly and the food was amazing as well! Ambience always amazing as well!
Love! Love! Love Toots! They have the best and least expensive lunch special's everyday. The best chicken tenders and fries you have ever eaten ANYWHERE. I ain't lying. Go on Wednesday for lunch and get you some. You'll thank me later. Oh, by the way they open at 11am so get there then so you don't have to wait for seating. The place fills up quick after opening.
Took a chance and tried Toot's on a Saturday night. The parking lot was packed, but the wait was only about 10 minutes. Tables were kind of crammed close together so it almost felt like you were having dinner with everyone in the restaurant. Not a big deal though, it gave off of a fun and "homey," vibe. Food was good and reasonably priced. Service was great even though they were super busy.
Sat at the bar and service was great (thanks Jasmine!). Ordered the tricycle sampler which was $10 after 8 pm and the food hit the spot. Will definitely be back.
Really enjoyed our visit! Even with a group of 8 we were set quickly (went when it opened) and served quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. Our server, Paige, was attentive and ensued our drinks were full. Food was fantastic and correct! Bar food with variety of options including salads, burgers, wings and sandwiches. I enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich and curly fries. Relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of parking on-site. Will add to my list for future visits!
